I bought most of the materials from Joanns and Micheals with 40% off coupons.
How to make a fabric flower bouquet:
Step #1 - Get a Styrofoam base
I couldn't find a half sphere, so I bought a whole Styrofoam ball and cut it in half. Styrofoam balls are surprisingly expensive. The best deal I found was at Micheal's. They were selling a 10 inch ball for $18 and I got it half off that price with a coupon. I would recommend using a 10 inch ball for this project. Anything bigger is hard to find and awkward looking.Step #2 - Cover your Base with Fabric
I used white satin fabric to cover the half sphere base. I temporarily tied it with a rubber-band in the back.I recommend the 10 inch styrofoam ball. It seems to be just the right size for a wedding bouquet. Anything bigger is hard to find and awkward and anything smaller, just seems too small. Styrofoam balls These are surprisingly expensive.
I created the flowers out of satin and organza and put jewels in the center. I sewed the flowers onto the sophomore base that was covered in fabric. I used a clear plastic handle for bouquets sold at Joann's. I had home depot wrap tough plastic around the Styrofoam and handle to keep them together.
Finished bouquet
